Since I have been so unfaithful with the entries, I decided to clear the slate and start again.  I hope to post at least an entry every night - lets see if I can do it this time. 

I will start with a little about me.  My name is David.  I live in the small township of Summit, which is part of  Jackson, Michigan, USA.  I spent most of my life in California.  I am engaged to an incredible woman by the name of Martha, who I live with.  We have not set a date yet.

When I moved here a couple of months ago, it was because I had been laid off from my job, and it seemed a good opportunity to join Martha.  I have been unable to find new employment as of yet, so I enrolled in a Broadcasting school that also offers placement.  I start that in March.  In the meantime, I am still applying for part time evening jobs. 

Tomorrow night, Martha and I will be going to a "sing-in" at the Jackson Chorale, a local singing group that works with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra.  Some of its members have been asking me to join, so Martha and I will go and see if it is something I want to do.  I'll post tomorrow night on how it goes.
